Girl standing in the Breeze Stephen Silver Fundamentals Assignment 8

Fat Back Stephen Silver Fundamental Assignment 8

For this assignment, we had to go out and draw from life! We also had to draw, nudes, people with clothes, costumes or whatever. As long as you draw from life you are ok.

Mr. Hyde Werewolf Dragon's orgin Stephen Silvers Fundamentals Assignment 5 clean up line

Mr. Hyde wasn't a  Dragon Werewolf at first and As the project went on Hyde went from small to big and from werewolf to Dragon Werewolf.  Its like I continued with my research for what I wanted Mr. Hyde to look like. I wonder if the character is suppose to change as you go along. Perhaps not. You are suppose to do all the research before all of the development? Perhaps..

Mr. Hyde Model sheet Stephen Silver Assignment 7

I am trying to draw on the computer as much as I can.  I thought drawing a character in the shape of a funky vase like a diagonal box with a sphere on top and to make the sphere of the vase bend over was challenging enough, not to mention how stylized the character is. I thought it was fun to do! I thought and exercise like this would help my fundamentals!

Crazy Dr. Hyde Stephen Silver Fundamentals of Character Design assignment 2

I drew most of my silhouettes in the shape of vases. I drew one vase for Jekyll and Hyde.  I guess I should have explored more with the shapes. I didn't seem to know how to draw with the vases but I tried.

The Bowler Man Stephen Silver Fundementals of Character Design Assignment 3

We had to draw this guy in the hat over again and then draw him in many shapes for the head.

Mr. Hyde Stephen Silvers Fundamentals of Character Design assignment 2

The assignment? To draw Jekyll and Hyde in silhouettes but I decided to do extra and I drew Mr. Hyde and put him in color! Stephen Silver liked it too! Hopefully I will do this assignment better if I have to do it again!

A very Young Cowboy Stephen Silver's Advanced Character Design assignment 1

A part of this class was that I created several collages to help me gather as much information as possible. Not just with this assignment but I did this with several assignments I did too! This one was the same thing! I drew a little boy's head on an adult's body! Watching my Golden Mean in both cowboys drawings. Also watching my shape without realizing it! Again, I drew this with Markers without having any idea on how to do Marcelo Vignali's Style! I did a Micheal Mattesi on these two drawings!

Cowboy Stephen Silver Advanced Character Design assignment 1

Its like drawing a little boy's head on a grown man's body. Maybe that means a very young looking fresh new cowboy?!  Yeah! I did this with markers with no idea of Marcelo Vignali's techniques!

Cowboy silhouettes Stephen Silver Advanced Character Design Assignment 1

Our main thing for this assignment was to draw a cowboy. Not to draw silhouettes.  O well! The things I got to do the fundamentals in my work!

Charles Harper Panther Stephen Silver Advanced Character Design Assignment 2

Besides drawing in an animation style of your choice we also needed to draw an animal in a style of our choice. I choose Charles Harper.

Redo of Stephen Silver Advanced Character Design Assignment 6 Drawing his Character

We also had to redraw Stephen's Character.  Again I didn't feel I pushed this man's pose enough so I turned him from the red line to a wrestler!

Wolf Sketches Stephen Silver Advanced Character Design Assignment 6

Here is the first time I drew with the computer pen without a sketch to guide me or trace on! I also didn't trace with a fruit to guide me! Wow!!

Stephen Silver advanced Character Design assignment 8 Heart Drob Runner

Most of these assignments were pushed in shape. This Juster Bieber wantabe is in the shape of a rectangle!!

Stephen Silver Advanced Character Design assignment 8 Shy kid

I drew this whole assignment on the computer. I experimented with different thicknesses of line.  I saw this guy outside of albertsons walking home.  Only he was older!

Stephen Silver Advanced Character Design assignment 8 Smart Harajuku girl....

In a shape of a soap dispenser! I worked on pushing her shapes too!!

Stephen Silver Advanced Character Design assignment 8

Shes only the 1st of the 4 people I have to draw for this assignment. I continued using shape. This girl is in the shape of a vase. Anyway, I have 3 more people to draw. I have to draw 4 people.  I have to  draw 1 bully, 1 smarty, 1 atheletic person and one shy kid. I've also done this assignment 3 years ago when I didn't understand the just of this assignment but I know now.  Boo Boo Babycake is her name and this is my second draw of her because I pushed her shapes more. This shape really works for a bully!!

Stephen Silver Fundamentals of Character Design assignment 9 The Jolly Rich Entreprenuer

Walter Chipwetletter. I pushed his shape!

Stephen Silver Fundamentals of Character Design assignment 9

I had to redraw Walter Chipletter showing what we drew the first week to the last week.

Stephen Silver Advanced Character Design assignment 5 Stacy Walker again

This Stacy Walker was drawn as a banna shape but not pushed. So I drew other drawings to make up for not pushing these shapes.  Stacy is drawn with colored pencil and markers.

Adding to Stephen Silver Assignment 5 Stacy Walker the Diamond Princess

As you see besides Shyla B, Stacy Walker is also my favorite model! I love her! She's awesome! I considered her shape as a diamond and then pushed her shape! This picture was drawn with markers and colored pencils!

Redoing Stephen Silver advanced Character Design assignment 5 Girl at the Liquor Shop

Since the first two Stacy walkers were drawn in shape but not pushed enough, I drew two more pictures. I also used the golden mean. I saw this girl at a liquor place in town and was blown away by her appearance. I just had to draw her. I considered what shape shes in so I drew her as a soap bottle and then pushed her shape!

Stephen Silver Advanced Character Design #5 Assignment Drawing Stacy Walker as a model..

We also had to draw from a statue, model or picture of some sort. So I drew from Stacy Walker again! This time using Marcelo Viginali's Style with markers and colored pencils! I also drew her as a pear shape but forgot to push this pose. I'll draw another one. Maybe two more...

Stephen Silver advanced Assignment 6 My first Bully drawn on the computer...

....He is a candle.  I really took a lot of time and had fun with the assignment. I really worked on my shapes.
